With the fast-paced advancement of modern technology, Colorado has initiated to come up with an online repository called the Internet Criminal History Check System where all the arrest and criminal reports are being archived. The documents are based upon fingerprints coming from the various law enforcement agencies within the State. However, records on warrants, sealed documents and juvenile reports are not revealed to public.

The State gives its residents two options in producing such reports. It can be generated electronically or be obtained manually. This electronic method means that you will have to access the state’s web-based system and pay a fee of $6.85 using a credit card. But, if you are looking for a document that is notarized, then you are going to undergo a manual search at the Bureau of Investigation’s office which would cost you $13.00. There is a standard request form which you will need to complete to do the manual approach. You can get this form at the office or download it from the office’s official site. Personal checks will not be accepted for your information and note that results will be mailed to you in 3 business days’ time.
